PHP5.3.3 on BlueOnyx And php-apc

Do following this:

1. Buy php5.3.3 pkg for blueOnyx from solarspeed web site.

2. Install php5.3.3 pkg:
(1) place 5106R-PHP-5.3.3-SOL1AV.pkg to /home/packages/
(2) install pkg via CCE Web console.

3. Install php-apc.
(1) Install necesary packages from yum.

Execute following commands:
yum install gcc
yum install pcre-devel

(2) Set environment for compile.
exec following commands:
mount -o remount,exec /tmp
export PATH=/home/solarspeed/php/bin:$PATH
export PHP_AUTOCONF=/usr/bin/autoconf
export PHP_AUTOHEADER=/usr/bin/autoheader

(3) Install APC.
exec following commands:
cd /home/solarspeed/php/bin
./pecl install apc

(4) Set apc configuration to php.
create /home/solarspeed/php/etc/php.d/apc.ini
content:
; Enable apc extension module
extension = /home/solarspeed/php/lib/php/20090626/apc.so
; Options for the apc module
apc.enabled=1
apc.shm_segments=1
apc.optimization=0
apc.shm_size=64
apc.ttl=7200
apc.user_ttl=7200
apc.num_files_hint=2048
apc.mmap_file_mask=/tmp/apc.XXXXXX
apc.enable_cli=1
apc.cache_by_default=1
apc.max_file_size 100M

(5) Restart Apache.
service httpd restart

That’s it. Please check APC environment params via phpinfo().
